I still want that 'immediate gratification' I get every time I open CS2 on my 10 machine, quickly, neatly and perfectly do what I need to do, and I'm out. Good thing I've been overloaded with work lately & not had time to devote to my fun/artistic stuff. But I just got so emotional and upset 1), about not knowing *automatically* where to go next, and 2) about not having CS2 on my new 11 machine that I've just had to stop. I've dived into it a couple of times thus far and even the interface and GUIs look extremely CS2-esque. Of course, you'll probably have to pore over a bunch of help and how-to files like you had to when learning our beloved CS2, but *Gimp* is a totally free download with, from what I can tell, about as many working options as Photoshop. If someone can please advise me what to tell this other person - or how they can search on the website for the download so they can upgrade their product with a new serial number to run it on their older compter operating system, that would be really helpful.Hey, phil26969237es4f: Good news, my friend: an insider cool-guru programer friend told me about a completely FREE graphics program that even has GUIs and options "like" Photoshop in its behavior. So, I guess my question now is, is there still a download page for people who want to use their old boxed versions of InDesign CS2 on their computers available on theAdobe site? If not, what can they do? When I go to that link, I see that it leads to a download page for Adobe Creative Suite products. I checked back here tonight and see that Steve posted the link above. They said they are getting redirected to the wrong download each time. However, someone emailed me tonight with the same question, asking if I still have the link to the download for the upgrade for InDesign CS2 products. ![]() Since I found that link and resolved updating my InDesign CS2 software so it would run on my Windows 7 Professional operating system, and resolved the issue of getting the new serial number to input so it would work, I basically went on and have not checked back on this forum since then. I posted my question about updating my InDesign product on here quite awhile ago at the top of this thread - I guess in September of 2017. I am operating on a deadline and need to have something edited in time for that. Please give me some advice on how I can find the help that I need and get my program working again. I really don't know what to do, the website appears to be set up so that it is not very helpful unless you have the newer products now. I don't have a main phone number, or know how to reach Adobe so I could get phone help, even if I had to pay for that. I am not sure what all the reasons are now for this dilemma I find myself in, other than that I cannot activate it because of the lack of phone support, as well as being unable to find a place on the website where I can get the right help, because the product is not listed on the choices. I have always been able to install it on 2 computers. I am not able to upgrade at this time, and need to get my InDesign documents where I can edit and update them on my other computer. It seems that CS2 is no longer supported. ![]() The problem is that Adobe doesn't do Phone Activation anymore, and then they refer you to the website, where you must choose your product, in order to get support. I have a valid serial number that came with the original box. ![]() It was installed then on my new computer, but I needed to install it on a separate computer that I have been using which has all of my file that I work with, and for convenience needed to put it on the second computer. I had it installed on an old computer which crashed and had to be replaced. I have an older version of InDesign CS2 that I have been using successfully for many years.
